So what exactly is linking campaign the old way? a lot of marketing companies did and are doing the plain link building, they add your links to those linking websites without context, the only updates on those websites are the new links, and most of them are useless, the name link spamming are just for these sites. New google algorithm most likely will punish these link spammers,  the links on those spamming sites won’t work anymore.

In the very beginning, I didn’t know better, I started with this keyword, Binder Chains, at that time almost every body was doing plain linking campaign, almost all the sites I got link from had too many links, worst yet, those sites had no content at all. In the beginning, the ranking of the keyword in question rise pretty fast, finally the rank improved a lot, this was the case until google made the change. Here is another keyword, chain pullers, we promoted this keyword with articles and blog posts, almost no plain links, now we have really good ranking for this keyword. So contextual link wins this time, what about future? Actually this is all about content, as long as you dole out high quality content, your rank will improve over time, since search engines are another kind of readers. How do you do it? Writing articles and building blogs, take a look at this blog, kaiya eve , in the beginning I just post to it casually, lately I added nice stuff left and right, now it can even rank the highly competitive keywords.
